Casino Tokens Part 4 is part of a blog series. The installments will make more sense if you read it in sequence.

There are some casinos that are still using the one dollar chips, such as the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel. It seems as if though the casino token’s days are counted as many casinos that use the receipts have decided to completely scrap the tokens. Once the casinos install the new systems, they save on labor costs. This is because machines hand out and read the receipts and prepaid cards.

Its possible that the first casino tokens were poker chips. The first gambling house or casino was legalized in the city of Venice in the year 1626. It is estimated though that poker chips (or at least ones similar to modern ones) was invented in the 1800s. Before poker chips, poker players used small valuable objects to bet with such as gold nuggets, gold pieces, or gold dust. They also had items that almost looked like casino chips and were made out of bone, wood, ivory, paper, and clay.

No one is sure who it was to first invent clay poker chips but it happened somewhere in the late 1800s or early 1900s. There are so many companies that claim that they were the inventors, which makes it difficult to make out who is telling the truth. Back then poker chips came in thousands of unique designs. Most of these casino poker chips were white, blue, red, and yellow.

Casino Tokens Part 3 is part of a blog series. The installments will make more sense if you read it in sequence.

Casino chip collecting is a very popular occurrence and part of numismatics. The hobby is so popular that it has its own club that was established in ’88. The Casino Chips and Gaming Tokens Collectors Club. Chip collectors buy and sell via ebay, and you would be surprised to learn how much they can be worth. I have even seen some that are worth up to fifty thousand dollars.

Quite a few casinos are taking advantage of this hobby and printing special sets of custom chips. They will print their own chips or cards with the casino name and logo on it, and then sell it in a fancy little box or briefcase. Collectors are willing to pay a large sum of money for these, especially because they are mostly limited editions sets.

There are quite a few casinos that are now in the process of replacing casino tokens with paper receipts or pre-paid cards. This replacement would have been much more rapid if it wasn’t for the huge costs involved for the casinos to change their infrastructure and machines.

Casino Tokens Part 2 is part of a blog series. The installments will make more sense if you read it in sequence.

The size and the color of the casino tokens allows the security guards and pit boss to quickly check the amount being paid. This way dealer payment mistakes can be reduced. The casino tokens have a specific, uniform weight, which allows casino officials to weigh them in large quantities rather than counting it. Most casinos do prefer to us specialized counting equipment such as chip trays.

One of the sneaky things about casino tokens that you perhaps did not know, is that it has been proved that people spend more money when it comes to chips, than when it comes to cash. Subconsciously, you think its less valuable than money.

Casino chips are part of the whole casino environment and sometimes serve as marketing tools. For example, a player takes 5 chips home but comes back to this specific casino in a couple days because of the chips. Some people also keep it as memorabilia and display the chips where other people see it, which helps with the casino’s brand awareness.

Casino tokens are also sometimes called checks/cheques or chips. These are the small discs that casinos use in lieu of currency. You will usually use tokens of various denominations for table games, and metal token coins for slot machines.

Some casinos have special gaming plaques, which players can use at the high stakes table games. Casino plaques are larger than chips, and they normally have a rectangular shape and have serial numbers written on them.

Casino players exchange money for casino tokens at the casino cashier station, cage or gaming tables. Players can later cash in their casino tokens and get their cash value. The casino chips usually only buys you anything in a specific casino, except in Vegas where some casinos allow you to use various casino chips.

There are quite a few reasons that casinos to use tokens rather than cash. Tokens are more convenient for them and it also curtails counterfeiting and theft. Casino chips have the same size and colors, which makes them easier to count and stack.

The French Lick Resort is a resort casino complex that is based in Indiana. The resort casino incorporates a casino, 2 historic resort spa hotels, three golf courses, and stables.

The French Lick Casino opened for business on 03/11/06 after a obtaining a casino gaming license. It was designed to be a riverboat in a smll pond, as the state law stipulates only water-based casinos and gaming. The French Lick casino offers more than a thousand three hundred slots machines, as well as table games that include craps, blackjack, poker, and roulette. However, the casino does not do as well as Indiana’s 10 other casinos.

The property also have a golf course called Hill Course, that was designed by Donald Ross. This golf course hosted was established in 1917 and hosted the 1924 PGA Championship. In the year 2006, the golf course was restored to its original stipulated specifications. The Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) will return to this course in June 2010 for its Professional National Championship.

There is another golf course located next to the hotel and casino. The course was designed by Tom Bendelow to be a 18-hole course but was converted to be a 9-hole course when the casino construction began.

This is part 5 of a series of best casino tips blogs. These blogs will make more sense if you read them in sequence.

I think it is about time that I should tell you that you should always be realistic in your gambling approach. You will never be able to force a win at a casino and it’s unwise to expect to win every time. Rather have fun along the way.

In the end, you should first of all be having fun, and secondly have some net profit results. You don’t have to win every time in order to make a profit. Rather choose a plan that will allow you to play casino games in intervals or sessions. You should decide when each session will come to an end and stick to the rules. Decide when you are going to leave before you even start a game.

If you are on a tight budget, you should pocket all your winnings and only continue playing casino games until your initial budget is blown. If you really want to continue playing after that, only use HALF of your winnings. That way you can have your cake and eat it too.

Best Casino Tips Part 4 is part four of a four part blog series. These blogs will make more sense if you read them in sequence.

So far we have looked at tips which covered: only gamble with the money you can afford to lose, don’t gamble when you really need money fast, don’t ever be too greedy for your own good, how much you should be prepared to lose and using the one way winning casino betting strategy. Let’s now continue with part 4.

You should think about setting your target profit levels in a backwards fashion. The reason for this is that it’s simpler to fulfill a target level when you do it backwards than when you do it forward.

The problem with forward profit targeting is that it possible for you to get close but no cigar. Then you lose everything. By targeting your profit level backwards, you can be sure that you will not lose out while using win ratio/low risk betting systems. What I mean by that is that you will risk a small amount to win a big amount; but you will win fewer times.

In essence, you should devise your casino betting system to try and win more cash with less bets and in less winning rounds, spins, cues, or hands. Positive progression casino betting systems is normally a good way to bet and provides you more flexibility in organizing your winnings.

Best Casino Tips Part 3 is part three of a four part blog series. These blogs will make more sense if you read them in sequence.

In Best Casino Tips Part 1 we looked at three of the most important yet basics tips: only gamble with the money you can afford to lose, don’t gamble when you really need money fast, and don’t ever be too greedy for your own good. Top Casino Tips Part 2 covered how much you should be prepared to lose. Let’s now continue with part 3.

In this section we will look a bit more at casino strategy than at general casino tips. Read the following tips if you want to work out a betting method or if you have always wanted to work out your own betting system.

This tip is introducing you to the simplest casino betting system there is. Using the one way winning casino betting strategy is quite simple. You start off with placing minimal small bets. Then, when you win, you bet progressively more.

The trick is to only use a portion of your profits, say 50%. This way you can bet as much as you want as long as you are only betting the percentage profit you decided on. When you run into some losing rounds, start betting small amounts again.

Best Casino Tips Part 2 is part two of a four part blog series. These blogs will make more sense if you read them in sequence.

So far we have covered that you should only gamble with the money you can afford to lose, that you should not gamble when you really need money fast, and that you should never be too greedy for your own good.

Rather keep it light and enjoy it than overspend your welcome, and bankroll. Next time you are at the casino; check out the people who looked like the spent 4 hours on the slot machines, then you will realize that it’s not glamorous or becoming.

It’s a good idea to never spend more than half of what you can afford to lose. If you get a thousand buck Christmas bonus, rather only spend half of that at the casino, you can always spend the other half on another casino trip, if you really want. Remember that casinos do everything in their power to hypnotize us and make us stay just that little bit longer. But if you have ever spent 4 hours losing a thousand bucks, you would know that this is not a great feeling.

Best Casino Tips Part 1 is part one of a four part blog series. These blogs will make more sense if you read them in sequence.

Over the last ten years, I have gained some valuable insight into the casino industry. Ive written these tips down for you as I want you to give the casino as much run for their money as you can. And I’m offering them to you free of charge as I don’t think people should be charged for casino tips and strategies!

Let’s start off with general tips that anyone can use, whether they visit the casino once a week or once every decade. These tips may sound very basic but you have to realize that if you can master them, you will never get into trouble with your casino habits.

My first tip, which applies to life in general as well, is to not be greedy. It’s OK to want money but if you win a thousand bucks and simply feed it back into the casino slot machine, you are being greedy. Rather keep a percentage of all your winnings aside.

While we are discussing greed, always always only gamble with money that you can afford to lose. This is the most important rule that there is. If you really, really need money, rather take out a bank loan, your odds will be much better that you will get what you need.
